Biography
patrick_lunt_biography.jpgPatrick was born in Liverpool, brought up in Birmingham, educated in Wales and Scotland and spent 5 years in Germany. He began his broadcasting career with the British Forces Broadcasting Service (BFBS); he then spent 30 years as a regular voice on BBC Radio 2.

For many years he has recorded voiceovers: he has presented the Lawrence Olivier Awards on BBC1; hosted a daily programme (bilingual in English and German!) for the Isle of Man TT races; narrated the documentary series "Extreme Machines" and "Raging Planet" for Discovery Channel; voiced TV commercials, and national and local radio commercials. 

Patrick has recorded hundreds of corporate videos and training CD ROMs;  compered charity concerts; given after dinner speeches; managed the media PR for a private eye clinic, which was featured on BBC1 Tomorrow's World; hosted a product launch for Hoover in Rheims; given live presentations at trade fairs and exhibitions; and written scripts for both broadcast and corporate promotion.

Patrick also runs voice training courses for broadcasters and public figures.

Is there time for hobbies and interests? Of course! Hot air ballooning, motorcycling, singing, puns, crosswords, posh cooking and drinking the odd pint...
